Renting and letting, done properly

Renting, with clarity on both sides.

Whether you are letting a property or finding your next home, VEYLO X gives you clarity on both sides. Before a landlord can take a holding deposit, we require a property ownership check to be completed and kept on the record. The landlord enters the tenancy details, VEYLO X keeps the record, and the renter reads that same record rather than a separate copy.

England only. More of the UK later.

Against fake-landlord scams

A holding deposit only after the ownership check.

Fake-landlord scams are a real problem in the UK. Before a landlord can take a holding deposit on VEYLO X, we require a property ownership check to be completed, and we keep the result on the record. Beyond that, VEYLO X does not vet, score or guarantee a landlord, a renter or a listing. Reading the record, and deciding what to do about it, stays with you.

01

Ownership check required

A property ownership check has to be completed before a landlord can take a holding deposit.

02

The result is kept on the record

VEYLO X keeps the outcome as part of the tenancy record, rather than leaving it in an email.

03

Both sides read the same record

The renter reads the record the landlord entered, rather than a separate copy of it. Deciding what to do about it stays with you.

How it works

Clarity, built in from the start.

01

Renters build a free profile

Set up your free renter profile once, then share it with any landlord in a tap.

02

Landlords enter the details

The landlord enters their own details and their property details, and completes a property ownership check before any holding deposit.

03

Both sides read the same one

The renter reads the details the landlord entered, and sees the ownership check on the record before paying anything.

For renters

What VEYLO X is

  • A place where renters and landlords meet with clarity on both sides.
  • A way to complete the checks a tenancy needs, with the records kept.
  • A neutral tool that gives you the evidence to decide.

What VEYLO X is not

  • We do not make tenancy decisions for landlords or renters.
  • We are not a credit reference agency, and we do not carry out anti money laundering checks ourselves.
  • We do not verify or approve landlords, tenants or listings. Identity checks are run by independent third-party providers; we keep and display the records.
  • We do not sell your data.

The team

Built by people who think renting should be simpler.

VEYLO X is a UK company, built and run by a small, accountable team.

MK

Marco Kok

Founder & Director

Marco started VEYLO X after seeing how much stress and mistrust the rental process puts on both renters and landlords. He sets the company's direction and its commitment to a fairer way to rent, where a property ownership check comes before any holding deposit, and the record a tenancy runs on is kept by a third party and open to both sides.

Tin Hang Wong

Co-Founder & CTO

Tin Hang leads product and engineering. He is responsible for the security, records and audit systems at the heart of VEYLO X, with a focus on making the technology feel simple and trustworthy for renters and landlords alike.

Questions

The things renters and landlords ask

// For renters

Is it really free?+

Who can see my information?+

Your renter profile is yours. Your data is encrypted, only used for the tenancy, and never sold. You decide when to share it.

How do I know a property is real?+

Before a landlord can take a holding deposit, VEYLO X requires a property ownership check to be completed, and we keep the result on the record so you can see it first. Beyond that, we do not vet, score or guarantee a landlord or a listing, and the decision stays with you.
