Working at VEYLO X
Quiet rigour over ceremony.
VEYLO X is a software platform for renting and letting in England. The platform is not open yet. The work is concrete: compliance evidence that has to be right, public-sector data that has to be sourced accurately, and tenancy workflows that have to make sense to a 24-year-old first-time renter and a 65-year-old portfolio landlord on the same day.
We favour quiet rigour over ceremony. Decisions get written down. Trade-offs get named. The system of record matters more than meetings about the system of record.
How we hire
Four short, predictable stages.
Application
Send a CV and a short note about why VEYLO X is interesting to you. No cover letter required.
Portfolio or work-history review
We read what you have actually built or shipped. No timed take-home tests.
Conversations
Two to three structured discussions, scheduled to suit you, usually one with the role manager, one with a peer, and one with leadership.
Decision and offer
We commit to a written outcome within ten working days of the final conversation, regardless of the result.

Compensation is benchmarked competitively for UK technology roles at our stage. Specifics are discussed at the offer stage, when we can match them to the role and to your situation. Beyond pay:
